Questions about Purchases...

I'm looking into Purchases now and I'm curious about a few things:

What does the testing flow look like for purchases?
Is it possible to process refunds from the Portal or through the API?
How would you create something like a time limited promotion?
Aside from IAP, is there any support for other revenue generation like Ads or Offerwalls?
